Our approach to creating functional, intuitive User Interfaces starts with gaining valuable insights consisting of: 

• Understanding the user(s) & their needs whilst also compiling product requirements
• Analysis of similar products & systems
• Creating a detailed task analysis & workflow (for each user)

Wireframing & Visual Development

Having a clear understanding of the user(s) needs, combined with workflow maps, we set out to design the initial layouts (wireframe designs) for the user interface.

Visual elements are created and presented within representations of the desired interface(s).

We rapidly bring our prototypes to life through formative usability testing and iterative feedback loops, having captured first hand feedback from User Experience (UX) testing.

Summative usability tests are conducted ahead of having software created for the product (ensuring user needs are completely addressed & reducing further iterations and development costs). 

Handover for Embedded Development & System Integration

Having key embedded software partners who specialise in medical device software developments (in line with IEC 62304), the team at Medical Design Group can control and lead the technical development, ensuring completion within agreed timescales and budgets alike.
